Set up NutCracker Tools on Android
You can explore skin and preparation previews on this website before installing anything. The Android app adds hero information, saved favorites, and supported local resource workflows. Start with browsing; configure storage access when you need an operation that uses it.
1. Install the Android app
Use the Google Play link on this site and check that the package is com.nutcx.tools. The current app supports Android 8.0 and later. Core app use does not require a NutCracker account.
After installing, open NutCracker and allow its startup content checks to finish. A connection is needed for content updates and remote downloads. A file already on your device can be inspected locally, though applying it may still need network resources.
2. Find a preview
Start with the hero catalog for skins or the preparations catalog for other resources. Search by name, then use the category filters. Open a card to review the item name, image, and source information.
A preview describes a catalog entry; it does not guarantee that the entry is currently available to apply. The app checks availability and your device access when you continue.
3. Choose the matching access method
When you need storage access, select the target package that the resource was built for. Try Folder access when Android permits selecting the matching Android/data folder. Grant access only to the folder you intend to use.
Direct storage is available on Android 10 and earlier. On Android 11 and later, advanced Wireless ADB is an option when Folder access is blocked. It requires Wi-Fi, Developer options, and Wireless debugging. On Android 13 and later, allow notifications for the pairing-code input.
4. Review and follow the operation
Before applying a supported archive, review the recognized, ignored, and conflicting files. Resolve the status shown by the app if Apply is unavailable.
Keep track of progress in the active operation view and install history. If an operation is interrupted and recovery is pending, reconnect the original access method and allow recovery to finish before starting another operation.
